A quick note
from me to you.

I made this pack for my own family โ€” and then realized every parent I talked to needed the same thing. Watch to hear why it works and how we use it ourselves.

Is this for you?

Your mornings don't have to feel like negotiations.

Whether you have a child with ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivities, or simply one who needs to see the day laid out to feel safe โ€” visual routines work when words alone don't.

These templates are built for real family life: large families, blended homes, busy parents who need something they can print tonight and put on the wall tomorrow.

  • โœ“
Kids who need to see the sequence, not just hear it
  • โœ“
Families reducing morning and bedtime battles
  • โœ“
Parents building independence in kids of all ages
  • โœ“
Teachers and therapists creating structured environments
  • โœ“

Neurodivergent Kids
ADHD, autism, sensory differences โ€” visual cues reduce anxiety and increase follow-through without constant reminders.
Elementary Age
Ages 5โ€“12 respond well to picture-and-word pairings that build habit and self-management skills over time.
Large Families
Customize one chart per child โ€” same system, different names. Spend less time directing and more time together.
Classroom Use
Teachers and school therapists use these to support transition times and classroom independence routines.

How it works

From download to wall-ready in under 30 minutes.

1
Download & Access
Instant access after purchase โ€” you'll receive the print-ready PDF plus a link to open your editable Canva templates.
2
Choose Your Templates
Pick the routine type and layout format that matches how your child processes information best.
3
Customize Your Way
Edit in Canva to type names, swap colors, or add photos โ€” or simply print the PDF, write names by hand, and cut out the task cards. Both work beautifully.
4
Put It On the Wall
Post where the routine happens. Let the chart do the redirecting โ€” so you don't have to.

The research behind it

It's not just a chart.
It's how the brain learns.

Visual routine systems are one of the most evidence-backed tools in child development and behavioral support โ€” used by occupational therapists, child psychologists, and special educators for decades.

๐Ÿง
Reduces Cognitive Load
When a child can see what comes next, their brain spends less energy on anticipation and anxiety โ€” and more on actually doing the task. Visual cues offload the mental work of remembering.
๐Ÿ”
Builds Automaticity
Repeated visual sequences help children internalize routines until they become automatic โ€” the same way we don't think about buckling a seatbelt. Consistency with visuals speeds this process significantly.
๐Ÿ“
Supports Executive Function
Children with ADHD, autism, or developmental delays often have executive function differences that make transitions and sequencing harder. External visual structure does the organizing work their brains struggle with internally.
๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ
Creates Felt Safety
Predictability is a core need for children who have experienced stress, instability, or trauma. A visible routine communicates "you know what's coming" โ€” and that safety is the foundation for all behavior change.
๐Ÿ’ฌ
Reduces Parent-Child Conflict
When the chart gives the instruction, you're no longer the enforcer โ€” you're the helper. Research on visual schedules consistently shows reductions in defiance, reminders, and daily power struggles.
๐ŸŒฑ
Grows Independence
Children who use visual routines consistently develop stronger self-monitoring skills over time. The goal isn't dependence on the chart โ€” it's building the internal habits that eventually make the chart unnecessary.

Questions

Common things
people ask.

What formats does it come in?
You get two things: a print-ready PDF you can use immediately, and editable Canva templates so you can customize digitally on any device โ€” no design skills needed.
Do I need a Canva account?
Canva has a free plan that works perfectly for these templates. You'll receive a link that opens the templates directly in your Canva account to edit and save.
Do I need any special supplies?
Just a printer. We recommend laminating for reuse, but it works beautifully as-is. Cut, tape, or velcro the task cards to the boards.
Is it designed for specific ages?
The picture+word format works best for ages 4โ€“12, but the system is used by parents of teens and adults with cognitive differences too.
What if I need a task card that isn't included?
Every template has blank "Place Picture Here" slots so you can add custom photos or drawings for any task specific to your family.
Can I use this in my classroom?
Yes โ€” teachers and therapists are welcome to print and use the templates for students. Please do not share the file digitally with others.
